The City of Winfield streets and right-of-ways are maintained by the Public Works Department. Street signs, mowing easements, trimming tree limbs that block vision, snow removal and keeping storm water catch basins clear are all services performed by this department. Keeping our City clean, safe and visually aesthetic is our priority.

City Employee from June 25, 1996 – November 16, 2009
Our loyal employee, H. Robert “Hutch” Hutchison passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009. Hutch was a faithful employee and very dear friend. Many residents of the City knew and respected Hutch for his acts of kindness and willingness to serve. There was never a task too small, too large or too unpleasant to daunt his desire to, not only do his job, but to do it right and never complain. This quiet, humble man will be greatly missed.
